Dresden
Pics of the aftermath of the massive bombarding of dresden by the RAF and USAFF (13-15th Feb. 1945)

The second pic shows a demontration of left-wing-activists in dresden (they think the bombing of dresden was right). The transparent says: "Alles Gute kommt von Oben" means in englisch "All good thinks came from above".

I keep meaning to make a thread about the Bombing campaign as I've got a metric fucktonne of pics and a obsessively thorough knowledge of the thing but not had the time for quite a while. I'll get round to it.
