On August 6, 1945 the nuclear weapon Little Boy was dropped on Hiroshima by the crew of the American Enola Gay, directly killing an estimated 70,000 people and completely destroying approximately 69% of the city's buildings. In the following months, an estimated 60,000 more people died from injuries or radiation poisoning. Since 1945, several thousand more hibakusha have died of illnesses caused by the bomb. After the nuclear attack, Hiroshima was rebuilt and the closest surviving building to the location of the bomb's detonation was designated the Genbaku Dome or "Atomic Dome", a part of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The city government continues to advocate the abolition of all nuclear weapons.

'You' only dropped it because they didn't have one to drop back! Not only that, the Japs only surrendered after the second one, thinking the US would just keep dropping them until the whole place was glass. Shame they didn't carry on as the US only had 2 to drop. I for one thank the USA for nuking them and putting to rest the dreams of millions of japs getting Australia, they came through the pacific hard.

hahaha yeah, take a hard look at your australia now...Australia would have been better off in the hands of the japanese cause now it's in the hands of the chinese

they are buying australia piece by piece, whether it be the suburban homes, the city pad or the mines to which you refer. Major businesses are owned and run by the chinese and you're hard pressed to find anything that is not made in china. Go to your local italian restaurant and you're most likely eating pizza made by a chinaman. Australia is chinese. Look at the faces in any of the major cities.

I dislike it intensely just as much as you do but I'm not blind:
Australia = 0
China = 1.
