My best advice is to permanently block Jane from being able to speak with you, first of all, and spend time with friends and family second of all.
You need to pass the sad phase and enter the angry phase. (Not what a shrink would tell you, of course) but it always worked for me. Once you can feel anger and aggression toward the breakup, it is easier for you to channel that into feelings of worth. As in, she left you because of her OWN shit, not because there's anything wrong with you. Or just PM me and I'll talk to you whenever you feel down? |

Jane was probably right, whatever she said. Don't feel sorry for yourself. Plenty of fish in the sea. Just be sure not to hook a blue whale or they'll eat you.

The fact is though she's not totally to blame for your depression, you've dug yourself into this hole. You need to start doing things you used to enjoy again the chances are you've reached the stage where you can't see the point anymore. Put your mind into something else, there's no point obsessing about something that isn't there anymore, get over it!

Yes above. There are 5 stages one must go through whether it be a break up, death of a loved one, incarceration etc. Until a person goes through all of these 5 stages... Well you must go through them Easier said then done at times
