Transparent teeth

So I'm brushing my teeth the other day. After rinsing and what not, I saw what looked like dark areas on my 2 front teeth. Closer observation confirmed that they're transparent spots. If I touch my tongue to the back of those teeth, you can see the pink of my tongue thru them. I noticed this is also happening to the 2 teeth on either side of the 2 fronts as well.

Freaking out a tad, worrying about it getting worse, I hopped on Google. For once, it was not my friend. I couldn't find anything. What I found were other people with the same deal, saying how they can't find any info on it either.

Anyone dealing with this? Better yet, anyone know wtf this is and is it going to get worse???

You have a guilt complex going on. I merely was suggesting your advancing age rings.

Ok fine. Let's say that's the case. Is this shit going to get worse? Am I going to be cleaning my teeth with Windex for a streak free shine in the coming years?

I've used them periodically, but I definitely haven't overused them. Haven't touched them in years, actually. Just Crest w/Scope 'Whitening.'

Don't we have a resident dentist on this damn site?

I've never heard of it before and was guessing... I suppose a visit to your dentist is in order.

The Sensodyne or w/e commercial on TV says it's because of the acid in your diet :/

Yeah I've been paying attention to that commercial. Says to use a straw with juices, soda, etc. I often do anyways because my teeth are temperature sensitive.

Welp, I s'pose it's acid wear. Tooth problems suck.

Thank you

I used to have see through teeth when I was very young, so it has nothing to do with getting old. I heard somewhere that it has something to do with too much flouride. I can't remember where I heard that though
