Here in Mexico, at the beaches americans generally attend, are lots of these spiders, so please ckeck out your rooms and your beds before you go to sleep...

It seems you have to cut off the piece of meat where you've bitten... someone post that there's nothing you can do if that spider bites you...

these things are all over the place, at least in the u.s. you can find em as far north as minneapolis anymore. used to be they were generally found only in the warmer climes but this is becoming less and less the case as they push their way northward as indoor pests. set up spider traps.

I was bit on the freakin ass this summer by one of those little buggers!! I now have a massive scar from where the bite mark was. Had a big hole too. But after a few hospital visits, massive doses of drugs and such, it has mostly healed up. But I'm not sure how long it will take to fully heal.
