Katholic Kawk. As they chanted "Be filled with the Holy Spirit, and don't tell your Mother what happened here".

I believe man is alone in an indifferent universe. The order we think we see is only an illusion. In the long run, chaos reigns. The universe has always been and always will be. Time is a human artifact. There is no beginning nor an end. Heaven and hell are as we create them right here on earth.

You'd be surprised what you learn from Catholic friends, once they realise you aren't going to mock/ridicule/walk away in disgust.

I'm not saying it is or isn't the reason I'm gay, but when I was an altar boy we would all laugh and joke about what the priests did in the sacristy after mass. I let it go along time ago. I don't even want the church's money.

I think it is really bad that organized religions lay such a guilt trip on young gay people when they have enough on their plate just coming to grips with their own identity. I'm not a believer, but I do think that if Jesus were alive today he would accept everyone regardless of their sexual orientation. Also, if in fact God did exist, he would not exclude anyone, since they are all his creation.

lol, those are called Southern Baptists.

I was raised and still am a Lutheran. Very laid back and not judgemental. I asked my pastor a couple of yrs ago what he did with the left over wine from communion and he said "I drink it, of course"...wonder if he smokes weed too, lol

But I do believe I would find some kind of comfort in having a belief towards some god. And I actually envy those who has, a bit.
Go agnostic. Some see it as being a fence rider, but it may suit your needs.

The term is Convienent Christian. How about Catholics that make confession, say a few pentences, and stroll out just to be back next Wed. and Sun. ?

I believe that we are all God's and heaven and hell resides in each and every one of us.

I like to keep it simple.

I live in the Southern US and that's a continous joke in these parts about the Baptists....anyhoo, I'm not very familiar with the Catholic church and I don't believe making confessions to another human, who is a sinner just like me.
