UFC President Dana White had something to say about the bankruptcy and has described the direction to Petruzelli as "criminal." “Why set it up for Kimbo to lose in the worst possible way, hurting his stock so much more than if he was beaten on the ground? The casual fan would have forgiven Kimbo if he lost by submission.” Head of fight operations for EliteXC Jeremy Lappen, said some of the criticism is unfair. "Kimbo never claimed to be anything he wasn't. He was a fighter that just participated in only his fourth professional fight," stated Lappen "The promoters kind of hinted to me and they gave me the money to stand and trade with Kimbo” stated Seth Petruzelli “They didn’t want me to take him down. Let’s just put it that way. It was worth my while to try and stand up and punch with him.” The BIG QUESTION is what is going to happen to Kimbo Slice? Will he fight again? The fact still remain that Kimbo Slice draws fans, but Dana White called him a joke! It does appear that Affiliction may pick up Kimbo Slice assuming he still wants to continue his career in MMA.
