^ on that note, someone once wrote that if the current wealth of the world was distributed equally amongst the people, in a matter of a few years, people would be in the same financial position they were before redistribution of wealth.

^^^ which actually makes perfect sense. Those who were poor and got rich squandered everything away. Those who were rich and got poor learn to invest and grow their puny little thing to something huge.
