Couple sentenced to life in child's death

Special Circuit Judge Gary Payne agreed with jurors in the sentencing of Patrick and Joy Watkins in Clark Circuit Court.

Patrick Watkins was the father of 10-year-old Michaela Watkins, who was found dead in March 2007. Joy Watkins was her stepmother.

Police say the child was scalded with hot water and beaten to death with a piece of lumber. The child had a total of 77 injuries, most on her head, and five crushed ribs.

Why aren't these motherfuckers getting the death penalty?

I hate people.

Because it's in the gay ass state of Kentucky, which has only executed 2 people since 1976.
Although technically not abolished in Kentucky, many states, like this one will likely never have another execution, and this story is pretty good evidence of that.

I used to support capital punishment. That was before I heard about the wonderful happenings (

) in prison. Now Im a lobbyist for own punishment behind bars.

Death is too swift a release for those people.

Death is too swift a release for those people.

The death penalty is only swift after the chemicals are being pumped into their veins. The 10 to 12 years on death row to get to that point is anything but swift. These people are a waste of oxygen and need to be put down like a rabid dog.
