US Country star Toby Keith once a staunch Republican and supporter of Dubya has made a surprise turnaround both with his political allegiance and with the content of his songs.

In 2002, Keith had a huge hit with Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue, which includes the lyric: "You'll be sorry that you messed with the US of A, 'cause we'll put a boot in your ass — it's the American Way.

Now Keith says he is a lifelong Democrat and has claimed he never supported the war! WTF???!!!

Now the tone is changing and instead of twangy and depressing country music like 'Have You Forgotten' we've got even more depressing shite with titles like, 'I Just Came Back from a War' and 'If You're Reading This'.

Keith's switch, however, has angered conservative country fans and anti-war activists alike, while opponents of the war accused the singer of opportunism.

They forgot to mention that it's also the American Way to go wherever the bucks are, materialism, purveyance of fame and celebrity and the pursuit at wealth is the dream and must be obtained at all costs, whether it means being a sell out cunt or not!
