All Time Favorite: Evil DEAD II

Top Favorites:
Re-animator
From Beyond (pretty much anything based on a Lovecraft story)
Evil DEAD I,II, AoD
The Hills have Eyes (I remembed I was on shrooms when I first saw it and couldn't stop crying when the family got murdered)
Night of the Living Dead, Day, Dawn
Return of the Living Dead I, II, III
The Thing (and many other John Carpenter movies)
The Blob (basically any movie where an alien comes to earth and rips shit up)
original TCM
American Werewolf in London
The Exorcist (shit still gives me the creeps to this day)
The Shinning
Hellraiser I, II, III
Cabal aka Nightbreed (love Clive Barker)
Just about every Stephen King book to movie even if they sucked ass, which most of them did.

Just too many to name.

Prince of Darkness, The Exorcist, or The Thing. Take your pick.

Event Horizon is a neat one for sci-fi fans too.

I also want to mention Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors as a favorite of mine. I remember having nightmares of this film when I was very young. Actually, I've only recently realized through watching the film again that many of my childhood nightmares were a result of watching this film and being too young to filter it out. I remember the nightmares very vividly.

Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Masters - Probably my favorite 'Elm Street' film. Scary, good sound and good character development. One of the only films where I felt upset that the cast was getting killed off by Freddy. I was interested to note that Frank Darabont (of Shawshank Redemption fame) helped write the script.
The music is EPIC. Perfect synth score with moodiness, humor, creepiness and good orchestration.
All around, a lot better effort than the second entry anyway. For me, this film gives me everything I could ask for out of a horror film and more. (9/10)

And, Patricia Arquette and Heather Langenkamp are fucking hot!

Elm 3 Part 1
The third of the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise is also my favourite horror film, Freddies on top form throughout, the victims are slowly picked off one by one, Jennifer the young lady who wants a break on TV ,Freddie kindly obliges by his head popping up out of a television set picking up Jennifer and smashing her face into the screen promptley electrocuting her and also ensuring her of her desired break into TV, another victim is a female drug addict who gets a massive fix from Freddie due to his fingers turning into syringes (WHAT A RUSH) the film is quite simply brilliant.
