Def recommend the films:
Man Bites Dog Philosophy of a Knife Black Sun Nekromantik The film Cannibal is an interesting but dreadfully slow piece. Bad dubbing, bad pacing, but excellent gore. The castrating scene is by far the most ruthless thing I've seen on camera. ALSO, the French film Inside remains to be a modern day hardcore masterpiece in my opinion. |

Cannibal Holocaust is the sickest movie i've ever seen because it looks like snuff.

The film's message is about exploitation and how the media feeds off violence. Yet, the film appeals to what fanbase? Gorehounds such as myself who feed off gore. Msg failed. but hey, it's a fucking kick ass movie. and if anyone mentions the animal violence---ruggero (the director) has stated he regrets having those animals slaughtered for film. |

Yeah, some of the stuff in Ferox is a little cheesy. The "mafia" hitmen looking for John Morghen (Giovanni Lombardo Radice's) character, and the dialogue that ensues there, ie "Hey, bitch! Where's your stud?!" and Morghen's "Get off my case, motherfucker!", "Oh yeah, twat??", "You're a hot-pussied little whore", and other cheesy dialogue. Probably from the dubbing to english from Italian, as that tended to bring alot of cheesy dialogue out of these movies. But I still like it better than Holocaust.
