Please Help Me - Irritating Line Appearing in my Browser!

I am on Mozila Firefox and for several days now an irritating line appears when I click with my mouse as if ready to write!

LOOK!

I can't fix it.

How do you remove it?

It's vista by the look of it. Just totally remove firefox and it's folders (save your profile folder tho), reinstall. See if that works. Firefox 3 beta 5 is out try that instead.

I am sure there is an option in the browser to remove it but where? I don't want to reinstall windows.

And I am on XP that looks like Vista.
