If your right click seems to not be working on firefox lately try this.
Sence Firefox Updated to the 3.5.2 my right click stopped working and my wheel scroll working once an a while I have been searching all over going through data to figure it out and found out that the new update installs the yahoo toolbar ...

Here is what I did and it fixed the issue after I restarted Firefox

1st go to your main bar at the top of your screen where File edit History Bookmarks Tools Help is Click on Tools

2nd click on add-ons

3rd if you see yahoo toolbar in the list click remove then restart Firefox

to double check this go to your desktop and click the start button then to Control Panel double click the add and remove programs, then go through the list and make sure there is no yahoo toolbar installed . If there is Uninstall it ,close the windows and start Firefox you should have no issues ...

Erm, I have the same version of FF . . . updated about 10 days ago. No yahoo toolbar. I don't think this was anything to do with firefox personally, but these extra toolbar options are becoming as much a nuisance as bloody Jehovas Witnesses. It seems every organization you visit / everything you download, they want you to install some totally useless extra toolbar.

I agree, I stay away from toolbars. I see no use in them at all. but I was trying to figure out why my right click wouldn't work and I came across that article and it worked so it had something to do with it obviously.

I had no Y toolbar installed either. I just couldn't imagine the Mozilla Corp would give in & sink that low. Although there is money to be made by combing that with your software. I believe the maker of "WinPatrol" it was, turned down this offer though, he had to think on it as the money was tempting. He did not & said he won't ever.

What is it?
The Update Checker will scan your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to FileHippo.com to see if there are any newer releases. These are then neatly displayed in your browser for you to download. Please note that not all programs are supported.

No problem. I just wanted to save a few fellow members from all the headache and stress I went through to get something as simple as Right clicking back, I actually thought it was my new wireless mouse fucking everything up. Thankfully it wasn't.

that's no probs, if your gonna 'clean' your pc then better off downloading a 30 day trial of something like Kaspersky and cleaning up with that, rather then fucking around with dodgy free anti virus and scanners that bring up a lot of false positives, to scare you into buying the real deal.

Go to any torrent site and it's full of fuckheads using AVG free "OMG VIRUS DETECTED IN THIS JPG" etc etc. Fucking assclowns.

I wouldn't have said it like you did but I do agree wholeheartedly.
To those using the free stuff think about what you would go through (physically & emotionally) & what would you lose in data, pics, docs, E-mail, etc etc & if you would have to rely on a tech to try to restore it for you & do you have the $ to do so at any given time (usually the worst) AND do you have anything you don't want anyone else to see or shouldn't have on your PC if your hard-drive crashed due to a virus.
Screw AVG crap for sure & pay for one that are constantly in the top 7 unbiased Anti-virus reviews year after year. If you don't know ask around or here
