Old Floppy Disc game wont let me install on a new computer!

Okay, a long, long time ago I bought a game called OPERATION: INNER SPACE which totally kicked ass. Well, I found the floppy disc a few days ago, and since I first installed it, I have had two new computers.

I tried to install it from the floppy disc, but it says that the game was installed on a different computer, so it would not allow me to install the full version. The company is also out of business.

MY QUESTION IS:
Is there a way to find on the floppy disc what info was written on it when I first installed the game on my old computer, and can I erase this to make the disc work on this computer?

Thanks In Advance, Computer geeks

-Ryan

You might not be able to.

Do you have a friend who might still have old PC with a floppy (I'm huntin here Ok say bear with me)

Are your sure the disc itself isn't locked?

OR

Do you still have any paperwork on it?
OPERATION: inner space™
(This doesn't help much but here goes) If your copy of the game is older than v1.29.08, download the upgrader to update to the latest version.
Get a playable demo or the latest v1.29.08 upgrader on

It's 14? yrs old so they may take pity on you & might be able to help you here http://www.sdispace.com/content/tech_contact.htm

The Update Checker will scan your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to FileHippo.com to see if there are any newer releases. These are then neatly displayed in your browser for you to download. Please note that not all programs are supported.

Thank you very much. I actually found a working version of the whole game on a torrent site though. I should have just done that before.

Game is damn fun.

Thanks bud. Try the game out, and if you like it, I'll give you the full version.

Plug ninjah onto your computer via usb port and make him eat floppy discs. Am sure he would make a fantastic drive.

ps : decency doesn't allow me to tell where you have to the plug the usb cable fyi.
