I doubt this was a staging. If you look closely in some of the photos you can see investigators snapping pics of the scene for evidence. I mean yeah it could be staged but the possibility is slim. Like stated before the autopsy incisions are to realistic and they may need stitched back up from the "abuse". Looks to me legit.
