It always shits me that these people who kill defenceless animals call their barbarous activity a 'sport'. Where is the challenge in getting a large weapon & blowing an animal's head off? I say:give the bear an assault rifle to blast the humans with and then maybe it'll be a fair fight.

Actually I damn HATE PETA. For all their supposed love of animals,they seem to HATE people.And that sort of extremist behaviour just alienates people. Do they really think throwing paint at an elderly woman in a fur coat is going to change her mind or convince others witnessing the act? If I were the old lady,I'd continue to wear it just to spite them.(And I HATE fur.)
I don't even have a problem with meat eating or traditional hunting where the spoils feed the whole tribe and EVERYTHING is used.Hobby hunting is just so incredibly cruel & pointless,sending more & more species into the extinction pile.It's yet another way for some guy who's insecure about his masculinity to wave an imaginary big dick about."See? I shot a frickin' HUGE bear! See,Emily Watkins who dumped me ? I do NOT have a small dick! I shot a BEAR,for chrissakes!" Meh.
