Ark. Inmate Left In Feces Over Weekend Nearly Dies

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An Arkansas state prison lieutenant was fired after an inmate left lying naked in his own feces for a weekend nearly died from septic shock.

An internal Department of Corrections report obtained by The Associated Press shows Lt. John Glasscock was fired in March over the January incident at the Tucker Unit maximum-security prison.

The report says the inmate became so ill he was placed on life support at a Little Rock hospital.

The report also alleges Tucker guards received lap dances while on duty and didn't patrol as ordered. One guard was fired, one was demoted and three others received written warnings for those incidents.

A phone number registered in Glasscock's name rang unanswered Monday. Prison spokeswoman Dina Tyler calls Glasscock's conduct "unacceptable."



IMO All of these motherfuckers should have been fired.

For an entire weekend, I think it's fairly safe to assume that a competent person/guard would want to keep the prison from experiencing a bacterial outbreak in a community setting, regardless of whether or not "PRISONERS PULL SHIT."

Corrections officer/prison guard is one of the shittiest jobs on the planet, both figuratively and literally. If you don't want to have to deal with assholes throwing bodily wastes on you, or the constant threat of attack, all the while knowing any defensive or even offensive action you take will be put under a microscope cuz the prisoners have FARRRRRRR more rights and protection under the law then you do, then don't enter into this line of work.

Pulling a jerkass out of a pile of shit, regardless of whether he himself chose to sleep in it in an act of disobedience, is included in the above. If that isn't among the job responsibilities you're willing to carry out, don't even apply for the job in the first place.

We would have broke out the OC and hoses, than had an inmate clean it up,(we never clean anything. Inmates volunteer to do it).Besides, corrections facilities are disgusting places regardless.

We had this "potty chair" thingy we would strap an inmate to if they swallowed evidence. A piece of cardboard would be placed underneath them and eventually, they'd have to shit. Then the shit would be squished between two peices of cardboard and examined for evidence.

I say if the motherfucker wanted his stuff so bad he'd retrieve it out of his shit or stuff it up his ass, he can have it as far as I'm concerned.

And you wouldnt believe some of the things women can store and smuggle in their crotch.

texas prison guards are no better than the inmates. they cause most of the shit that happens. if an inmate throws feces on a guard they get a freeworld charge of assault, complete with a ride to the county courthouse. so it happens rarely unless it's a hotheaded youngster doing life and has nothing to lose.

Texas is one of the very lowest paid out of all the states & when hard-up (which is much of the time) will hire anything with a pulse (For reals) AND will put anyone in a guard tower meaning they have rifles at their disposal even the low IQer's with pluses they hire. Come in with nice & normal attitudes & leave on the brink of divorce or huge strive in the family. They would rather hold tight with their little dysfunctional "clicks" then quit & hold on to their family life. Sick people. Not all but many

every female guard is popular with the inmates no matter what they look like. the ugly ones are especially easy to manipulate. soon they're bringing in tobacco, pot, money, you name it. all in the name of love. they are the stupidest sluts that ever lived.
