I understand where Peta are coming from but unfortunately most people arent ready to think that way. Consequently they come in for alot of ridicule or are written off as extremists, which is a pity.
They do a hell of a lot of good for animals.

They have. But they get so carried away like this article they take away (I feel) from the message they are trying to convey & turn people off some of the whole PETA thing.

There have been a very specific few things that PETA has done that i agree with...VERY minute amount of things, but they really do not help as much as they claim to do...they have done more damage then good mostly, but at the same time they have done a small amount of good...

they just take things WAYYYYYY to far...

I'm a Animal Welfare activist, not an animal rights activist in any way, and i think PETA is mostly run by a bunch of extremists and dumbasses...
