Anyone wanna take a guess at wtf this is?

I know what it is but does anyone know what kind of moth this thing will morph into? The pictures don't really do it justice, I mean this thing is fucking huge!

Also post stuff you found in your garden, i.e. big spiders, bats etc etc.....

It's weird as fuck no? It has a weird face thing, with teeth. Also going along the bottom of it's body is like little hands that grip the twig or branch it is on!

go take another picture but put your finger by it so we can gauge its size better.

Looking at the colours I would say an elephant hawkmoth caterpillar.

Plus - theres not that many caterpillars that get to that size in the UK.

I had a big yellow fat spider who made its home on my post box, i couldn't get my mail, the bastard thing was guarding it, i waited in hope the post man did it in (neither me or danny would go near it we're both scared) he must have done cos i haven't seen it in a couple of days I had 2 days mail in my post box lol.

I say big it was about the size of a 50p piece including its legs, which is big enough for me.
It was too chunky too. "shiver"
