Can't believe no one's posted up the alternative.

I couldn't find the original, so had to make my own version.

If you get too depressed about this shit (which happens on a massive scale in Africa EVERY DAY) then do something about it, or you'll end up like matey who thought that the pain outweighed the joy on this planet.

Everyone loves to blame the photographer; what about the kids family? They walked away and left it.

In many parts of Africa it is customary for the men to eat first, and then the women, then the children eat last if there is anything left. They often grapple over one pot of food so the smallest offspring get the least as they are not as fast as their older siblings. Ever wonder why most starvation pics show tiny starved children with healthy looking parents? That is why.

Honestly I don't quite get why everyone gets so torn up over that pic, that is nature.

I agree! I would have tried to entice the vulture a bit closer so it didn't have to wait as long. Africa is a lost cause. We need to pull out all aid and let nature take it's course. The Negroes of Africa have been naturally selected for extinction. Let our planet heal itself from that worthless scourge.
