Now, I do believe that there were concentration camps, and Jews were sent there. That's obvious. Do I believe that masses were gassed with zyklon-b? No. Probably 1,000,000 died, tops, and from typhoid most likely. The holes on top of the "gas chambers" were put in AFTER the camps were overthrown.

Agreed. But the whole point of rounding people up according to ethnicity and killing them seems to be forgotten by some when there is a "big lie" involved. The belief that the jews are using the fact that they were killed in great numbers to appeal to public consciousness, in my mind, is not without merit.

If it were me, and people began rounding up and killing irish motherfuckers en masse for being irish, and I lost my friends and family and yet survived, you can be damn sure I'd be willing to go to great lengths to let the world know what happened. That is a right that every human being should have. A voice which cries out in dire circumstances, cannot be extinguished so easily... and shouldn't be.

I'd want to do everything I could to prevent it from ever happening again.

Attempting to discount the pleas of those who have suffered mass genocide simply by using a lie as a convenient excuse for misdeeds, and assuming that this lie somehow makes the eradication of a race worthwhile... I dunno, seems a little insignificant in comparison.

Which is worse, lying about the number of people killed, or subjecting hundreds of thousands of people to conditions unfit for a sewer rat.

I have to agree with you.
The #'s are really not that critical if that's what people are arguing about.
Truth be told, a lot of people suffered and died for a very sad and selfish ideology that is not held popular with the German people of today.
The term 'abomination' is mentioned coincidentally with the extermination efforts put forth by the powers that were.
Maybe the #'s are off, maybe some things didn't happen the way people make them sound, but enough occurred to make it one of the worst atrocities ever known to man in modern times.

When you lay down the hate and begin to see everyone as an individual instead of a symbol or statistic, you start to free you mind.
It's easy to hate people that aren't like you, the hard part is getting to know and understanding those that are different from yourself.
That's what I've found is the beauty of life.
It's interesting to see what other people do and think.
Being cruel and opinionated leads to ignorance which leads to negativity and sadness.
Obviously some people fit stereotypes, but so what?
When you lighten up and begin to enjoy your own life, what other people do and think becomes incidental.

I can understand wanting to see the past for what it was, but young people seem to always fall victim to this Nazi drama some 50 year later and it's strange because even the real Nazis don't align themselves with the party any longer.
Relax and focus on ideas and positive thoughts, invent something good for man, read a book, see a movie, watch a flower bloom.

Why blame the jews for surviving and thus doing what they do best? The jews have historically been as enterprising as any. Give them 2 pennies and they'll make a small fortune and all that.

In the end, they were resilient and survived. Not only that, they bounced back and became far more powerful than they were before. It is b/c of the failures of hitler's agenda and the doctrine of national socialism's collapse that the world is the way it is today. If you want to blame any one entity or system for allowing jews to control things in modern times, the blame points directly to the failings of national socialism.

I agree with you on pretty much all counts. But stereotyping is far easier than being open to individuals. People would rather live with these stereotypes and hatred for minorities b/c of the belief that such labeling somehow defines what it means to be white... that it's somehow the right and privilege of the white race to hold dominion over colored folk. And that losing that sense, is destroying a virtue of white pride... I just don't get it.

It's fine to be opinionated (though I may be a bit biased here) as long as those opinions aren't founded with malicious intent expressed towards things as arbitrary as a group's skin color and while certain predictions can be made about behavior, it has to be done so on the basis of locale and CONTEXT. It's possible to be opinionated and be open minded and kind.
