I read Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka yesterday at work.

Man wakes up to find himself changed into a giant cockroach. Life sucks in general. Symbolism leaking off every page.

I won't rate it.

It was awe-inspring in that rather than reading about despair I felt that despair in every bone of my body. It was 5 hours of absolute misery.

Not sure why I would enjoy this absolute misery so much, but I did. I am actually still upset thinking about it.

"programming arcobjects with vba" by kang-tsung chang

it's a tough read, but there are a lot of diagrams, flowcharts and code snippets to help you through it.

next i'm going to be reading "the lorax" by dr. seuss.

“Eating Apes” by Dale Peterson, a nasty look inside the bush meat trade.
Some African tribes actually call apes bush-men and conceder them an easy catch. In the book a hunter tells how he tries to kill a female gorilla first, knowing that any males in the group will try to defend her, making it easier to kill the whole group.
