He obviously didn't put the lotion in the basket.

To take a serious swing at figuring this one out though, I have some guesses.
My gut wants me to call it fake, either a dummy or amazing makeup work, but the more I look at it the more I doubt this. It may look "unreal" due to how shocking the disfigurement is, but the dude himself appears to be 100% real, and I don't see how anyone could fake something this realistic looking. Skeletor here has no lips or nostrils. The nose wound appears to be fairly fresh. I'm thinking maybe this all could be some form of extreme body modification? Seems to make the most sense given the fresh nose, like he just recently cut it off. It also looks like he's had some cuts along the sides of his mouth, along the lines of Dark Knight's Joker. Also, his buddy here has two different colored eyes, more evidence of these two being into some body alteration stuff(although I know, simply wearing a different colored contact is hardly a big deal, I'm just going out on a limb here). Body mod wouldn't explain the extensive scarring throughout the whole face however. How'd he get the scars on his neck? His jaw looks mishapen too, and not just cuz of how he's holding his mouth open. Look at his chin, does not look normal. Car accident maybe? severe facial fractures? Maybe some burn damage, which would account for the lips? Perhaps he at some point has bitten an electrical cord, I would think the electrical burns could fry up his face to look like that. Dog bite/attack would also make sense. His hair looks pretty mangy. Maybe this is a homeless dude, and his buddy here isn't a buddy at all, but just some jerkass yahoo who saw a disfigured hobo and decided to take a funny pic to show off to his friends. That could explain why his face looks this horrible, guy could never afford any plastic surgery to fix things up. |

I'm going to go with your 3rd guess. Makes the most sense. All good guesses. ![]() |

Looks like severe burning or severe trauma. I had a friend who "lost" his face in a car accident, took him like 5 years and 12 surgeries to recover a normal looking face, and in the course of treatment he looked like the skeletor dude of the pic. Id say its a pic of someone recovering from a series of face reconstituion surgeries.

Looks like 3rd degree burns. Sort of like the massive scar down my arm from my 3rd degree burns...But eh just my guess.
