ok, understood that the girl is far too young, however I'm in two minds about the alcohol issue, mate. I know people that have never touched alcohol in their youth and as soon as they turned legal they went stupid with it. Others who were introduced to alcohol from an early age by responsible parents now treat it responsibly and in moderation.

The worst here are aussie kids.

My dad is German and He started at a young age drinking, and you are right he treats it responsibly and in moderation, He only drinks wine now and good wine at that.

That's because Australia is one of the biggest drinking nations. 18 is the legal drinking age here, and many of them start much younger than 16. For example, this week is 'schoolies week' where I live. It's infamous for thousands of kids between the ages of 16-18, getting absolutely blind rotten drunk. Car races, football, bbq's, any excuse is good enough for most aussies to gather round and get on it. I've seen plenty of people put alcohol on their babies dummy (pacifier) here, and although I don't agree with it, there's not a lot of people who'd say anything about it and a lot of people accept it as 'normal'.
