One difference I noticed between Teamspeak and Ventrilo is that Ventrilo seems to have better audio quality. As I understand it though, you can use Teamspeak for free as long as you don't have too many users on the same server/channel/whatever, so that is a plus.

Secret of Evermore SNES.
It's kind of typical. Not bad, not great. The ambience of the game is probably the most notable aspect, and features a soundtrack by a 19-year old Jeremy Soule, who's gone on to greater success with his orchestral work. In regards to the gameplay of Evermore, the inclusion of a dog as a permanent companion character was a cool idea in concept, but the way it's executed in-game is non-committal and the overall scope and design of the game is too rudimentary to make much use of the relationship. The general dynamics of the game are sound, but certainly a let down from the standards of Squaresoft RPG's of the time, and a failure that ultimately capped Square USA studios before they had a chance to really get started. Still worth checking out at least once

Im a fan of Secret of Mana Beard Rape, and I have played Evermore which I enjoyed too. You've excellent taste in games.
I highly recommend you guys try out Machinarium, try out the demo; http://machinarium.net/demo Ive been trying to get into Dragon Age Origins, although it not working for me at the moment. Im more interested in their Mass Effect 2 which is coming out soon.

I'm also a fan of Secret of Mana. Timeless game. 'Evermore' doesn't come close to emulating the greatness of its spiritual predecessor. A decent game, but really way too dry.
Mana... yea. I think I am going to play that next. It's been a long time since I've beaten it. ![]()

You can have a two player game when you get your first female char (As im sure you'll already know). Me and my mate networked the game over the net to play... although it wouldn't sync up fast enough. That was around two ago so im sure there are new emulators which would sort that issue out. I also like the music.
The Legend of the Holy Sword 3 (Secret of Mana 2)is great as well =)

'Secret of Mana' can actually be a 3 player game with a multi-tap though I've never tried it b/c most of my friends thought rpg's were gay at the time. lol

It seems like it would be a bitch getting all that movement between those 3 players coordinated to the point where the game flows well.
