Trouble Downloading A Game

This may be a relatively dumb question but, how does one mount a CD image to a hard drive?
I'm trying to download and play CoD 2 and can't get the fucker to work!

See my sig.

You're probably talking about an ISO. I can't help you on this one. Suicide Boy is good with the games though & I think it would be Ok to ask on the game section. You'll get more responses.

The Update Checker will scan your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to FileHippo.com to see if there are any newer releases. These are then neatly displayed in your browser for you to download. Please note that not all programs are supported.

DAEMON Tools

That's pretty much all you need to mount nearly any kind of disc image file imaginable. ISO is probably the most common file type, along with CCD/IMG/SUB and CUE/BIN.

It's very user-friendly and if you can figure out how to download a program from Pirate Bay, you can figure out how to use DAEMON Tools. You'll probably want to get the Lite version, which is free, but has all the features I've ever needed and no registration reminders.

Once an image is mounted, DAEMON Tools will create a new virtual drive, which will get its own drive letter (J: for example) and can be found in My Computer just like any physical drive, with the ISO (or whatever) in turn behaving just like any physical CD or DVD.

Tip: Pirated ISOs sometimes have cracks or special instructions stored within the ISO. Look for these by right-clicking the new virtual drive and selecting "Explore."

Thanks SB. I will download and use the tools. Hopefully this will work. Currently the only shooter I have is Halo and I've never played CoD 2. I know it's old, but I don't care. My video card will only handle so much. Once again thanks!

I use Power Iso. It will make the ISO image as well as mount it, so just easier for me. Daemon is good as well though.

i use MagicDisc, which is essentially the same thing, mainly because I found a cracked copy of it before I came across Daemon Tools.
