I almost forgot Escape Velocity: Nova.

I doubt any of you even know what this game is, which is a real shame. It's an excellent 2D space trading/combat/adventure RPG.

Ignore the text narration of this video, it's pretty stupid; and the in-game footage is lagged due to FRAPS or something. I'm only posting it for the theme music, which, for an obscure title like EV:N, is amazingly good... one of the best science fiction theme songs I've ever heard, actually. Too bad this only has the first two minutes.

It's not the main theme music, but all the music in Dreamweb is beyond fantastic.

I uploaded the entire Escape Velocity: Nova theme myself from the source MP3, so here's the whole thing, without an annoying gay "trailer." It gets better as it goes along, so the first two minutes aren't enough to get the full experience IMO.
