The farmlands in the mid northern states have been over run with these rascals & essentially made them unfarmable so some just gave up & started charging folks by the day to go shoot um up. Folks can camp out there, get drunk & loud as they want without bothering not a soul & shoot them all they want. They are doing the "farmers" a favour.
There are literally millions & millions of them out there. There Prairie dog towns (I think they call them) stretch for a hundred miles.
