![]() ![]() It's at back of my friends house, location (Kedah,Malaysia) so i managed to snap pix of the banana tree using my mobile camera...i think it's weird and strange so i fell like want to share it with all our UR member ... ![]()

I am not sure but I don't think those are bananas but another banana like fruit called a plantane (Sp?). Banana plants don't have the seeds in the fruit like oranges or apples but in a pod that hangs at the bottom of the bunches so the fruit develops in a special branch of the plant for protection and burst out when getting ripe!
Other people might know much more about this than Ido but I know that if you fry the plantane (sp?) they say that they are very good to eat!!! CH
