This video is from 2005 and the practice has been stopped thanks to animal rights organizations getting the word out to France which that island where the cruel practice took place is part of France

Now hey come on! Look at it from a shark's perspective... The thing's got instincts... And I bet it'd rather go for a LIVING bait than a dead one... Besides there are tens of thousands of puppies that die everyday in all the major cities and nobody gives a fuck about them ! In this case they at least die for a purpose
