Line over....tough shit.

Well his chute deployed and a rigging line instead of playing out fully,looped over the top of his chute.Making it look like a womans bra.Very dangerous.

The chute is unsteerable and in any normal situation....(not base jumping) you cut away and pop your reserve.

What happens is you go into an uncontrolable spin to the right or left until you hit the deck...as happened here.Nothing you can do about it at all when you are this low exept accept the landing and get into a good landing position,and hope for the fucking best.

This guy got a broken leg by the looks of it.....not a bad day out as he could have been in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Stirling will now turn up and tell you all what really happened....

As he did 97 jumps by 1997...and his grandad was 97....and his lucky number is 97....and he drank 97 cans of cheepo lager down the ta hall at the weekend.....
