I actually joined a Iranian website a few years ago, and I learned not all of them live 1500 years behind. There is a big group of westernized Iranians, that live almost as we do considering they are in Iran. Most of the reminiscent lifestyle from the Shah Reza.

That wasn't the morality police. But I have been to Iran and yeah there are some ultra conservative women that do make comments about "loose" headscarves and such.
The issue was no doubt the womans headscarf or lack thereof. It is the law over there, you can wear it "far back" but she wasn't even doing that. That woman could probably be arrested by the REAL police for doing that. It would be the American equivalent of a woman going to a busy supermarket topless on a saturday afternoon, there is going to be a fuss and indecency charges.
