sometimes it's just not that easy for the woman to walk away, the reprocussions of walking away often outweigh the punishment being dealt at the time.
It's totally wrong to beat anyone, It's just another form of bullying and control.
These types of thing are global, domestic abuse is rife, wether it be physical or mental.
What I find the most difficult is the amount of men who say "they could never hit a woman, blah, blah blah" but go home and do the same to their wife/partner.
Is this what happens when familiarity breeds contempt?
