While I appreciate your expert opinion on the matter, a slanteye on a bike gets run over in China about three times a week, apparently. It usually happens very quickly, whereas this fellow is desperately struggling with the machine for thirty seconds, and according to the article, is laying there being crushed for quite some time afterward.

Also, it doesn't really matter whether there's any gore or not. Blood doesn't need to explode all over the screen for a video to be considered good, at least, not in my opinion.

A WORKER died after becoming trapped in machinery at a steel products factory which supplies car parts to Porsche and BMW.

An investigation has been launched after the 52-year-old was killed in an accident at the Thyssenkrupp Tallent factory in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, on Wednesday afternoon.

The Journal understands, the man was crushed in a machine.

The employee, who is from Newton Aycliffe, has not yet been named. But his relatives have been informed.

Emergency services were called to the factory, on the Aycliffe Industrial Park, at around 5.20pm, following the accident, in the press shop.

Paramedics found the employee trapped in machinery, but he was still breathing and conscious at the time and firefighters worked to free him.

Ambulance crews attempted to stabilise and resuscitate the patient until 6pm. But he died at the scene. A spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service explained: “We received a call at 5.23pm reporting that somebody was trapped in a machine at a pressing plant. We were on the scene within a couple of minutes. The patient was breathing and conscious when we arrived although he was fighting for breath.

“But he passed away at the scene and his body was taken to Darlington mortuary.”
I don't think this is the correct story for the video. I highly doubt that guy was either breathing or awake when he was rescued. I bet he was dead by the end of the video. He had no air and his chest and head were compressed into this right arm by the force of the press. It looks like he bumped the on switch as he leaned into the machine. What an ass, he should have locked it out and approached it from the side and not the front to correct the problem.

Does this mean you volunteer to find what you can on this. I myself am wondering what that press is for. Been real busy today & haven't took time to look into it more but since you live nearby....

Did they issue a press release about this?

My time will come at the hands of angry Argentines.

I've seen it in a dream.
