I have a truck I take just on logging roads & the mat does that sometimes too & prevents me from pushing the brakes all the way. I said screw that & removed the mat. Those cliffs are STEEP

Now on a serious note, this driver was a retard and clearly needed to die. Too bad it also killed his innocent family.
a) You can put the automatic transmission in neutral and slowly come to a stop if you have the distance to do so. Have you ever been afraid to run out of gas and tried to do this as much as possible to keep doing 80... 75... 70... 65... 60... while your engine is idling? b) You can shut off the engine by switching off the key. I know this because one day I was having an argument with a bitch gf of mine while she was driving, and I was ready to get out of the car but she didn't wanted me to do so. Solution? turn car off, keys off and thru the window they went. The car stopped within a block. c) You can put the transmission in neutral and apply brakes, if there are no problems with them. If they don't work either, just go to "b", as the engine off while on gear will slow the car smoothly and quickly. You don't need to die on that situation, and if you have time to call 911 and have somewhat of a conversation with the operator, you should have the time to do any of these things. I can't conceive the asswipe calling 911. In that situation, any of the steps I mentioned would come by instinct in my case before calling anyone, no doubt about it. |
