I said a pump up which you can pump from 1-10 times. I said a low pump if it's close to just startle it & will not puncture the skin. No way would I endorse that.
What I did was shoot (startle) the dog & then gave my command "quite". I've never seen a dog needing startled with a BB gun more then 3 times b4 they learn. And that was only one dog. So from there out if it was barking I shouted across the street "quite" & BAM! No more insentient barking at air molecules.
