the Marine was not charged. while the battle of fallujah was an great military success, because of clips like this and false civilian casualty counts, the battle was also a political disaster. in this vid there had been a long firefight the day before a seperate group of Marines captured the mosque, after killing several insurgents and treated the injured ones. they were left there to be picked up and transported elsewhere. something got messed up and then next day the squad seen here was not informed of the wounded and was told to reclear the buildings and this incident occured.

you obviously know little about the battle. the battle was long overdue. it was intended to happen months before but politicians pussy out and pulled the troops back. i agree it was messy. around 100 Americans were killed but several thousand insurgents were killed. the attack most certainly was NOT badly coordinated. do some research, the enemy had no clue the US would attack from the north, they were completely overwhelmed and then trapped in the southern side of the city. if you want to see a badly coordinated city siege, look at the russian siege of Grozny. you should know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.

that rebuttal tells me i've won i only sound patronizing because you don't know wtf you're talking about. i think the Brits actually are known for being Patronizing, not Americans. i don't dislike Brits, but they(at least the ones i know) can be very arrogant. i've been to England twice though. nice place.

don't be hard on brits. generally we're far from arogant. i guess it was just the ones you spoke to. lol

...and as for the rest of it. ultimately, history is written by the winners and we will see.
